Caribbean Hotel

Originally built in 1941 and designed by famed architect Murray Dixon, the existing six-story building, at 3737 Collins Avenue will be gutted and then renovated to include 35 ultra luxury units in what is to be called the north tower. A new 19-story south tower with 68 units will be built alongside it. Both buildings will front the ocean. Units in the existing building will span up to 1,748 square feet; units in the new tower will span up to 3,910 square feet. Prices will begin at $1 million. Penthouse pricing will be available upon request. To help marry the ritzy feel of the era with 21st century styling and conveniences, the developers have commissioned world-famous Christopher Ciccone as interior designer and Kobi Karp as exclusive architect.
